Terms & Conditions

All of us at the New Inn are committed to looking after every one of our guests as best as we can. We apologise what follows is rather boring but it is essential for us to provide the ‘small print’ as a condition of visiting or staying with us.

Allergies and intolerances
If you suffer from any food allergies or intolerances, please make our staff aware. Our kitchen can accommodate nearly all requirements and we will always do our best to ensure you have something delicious to eat. If you have a feather allergy please let us know on booking your rooms so we can accommodate you accordingly.

Arrival and departure
Bedrooms are usually available from 3pm on the day of arrival. Departure is by 10am (allowing time for rooms to be made up). There may be occasions, at times of high demand, when guests can check in and use all the New Inn facilities, but the bedroom is still being prepared. Should you wish to check out later please ask us. We cannot guarantee this, but will always try to accommodate your request.

Availability
All rooms and rates offered by the New Inn are subject to availability and the discretion of the managers. Limited numbers of suitable rooms may be allocated to individual rates, packages or promotions and, when these allocations are taken up, remaining available rooms may be offered at a higher price.

Bookings
Bookings must be guaranteed by full payment for the accommodation by a major credit card.

Cancellations, amendments and non-arrivals
Cancellations made within less than 48 hours of your arrival are fully chargeable. We are a small pub and have to stick rigidly to this rule. Cancellations made within more than 48 hours of arrival but less than 5 days will be charged 50% of the full booking fee. Cancellations giving more than 5 days’ notice will be fully refunded. Refunds are made within 5 working days of cancellation. Should you be eligible for a refund, we will be in touch for your bank account details as it will be made direct to your bank account by bacs payment. Should you wish to change something about your booking please email or call us and we will do our best to fulfil your request.

Car Parking
The New Inn has a car park to the rear of the pub. We cannot guarantee there will be a parking space for you on arrival as we are often very busy around lunchtime. Please be careful about pulling in and out of the pub car park as although we are in a small village cars can still speed through. Please be aware you are solely responsible for damage to, or theft from, or theft of vehicles parked on our premises.

Children
Children aged 18 years and under must be accompanied by a responsible adult to ensure that the children’s behaviour is appropriate for other guests within the New Inn. Our public areas at the New inn are on one level but there are a number of steps into the pub whichever way you enter. There is no viable way for us to have a full sized disabled toilet. Our bedrooms are located on upper levels and there is no mechanised lift. We are sorry for this but it is the function of an old building, its size and planning restrictions.
