We are slap bang in the middle of the village which lies approx. 2 miles west of the A358 Taunton to Minehead road. Follow the A358 towards Minehead from Taunton. Then turn off the 358 and follow signs to signs to Halse from the Bishops Lydeard roundabout which is on the A358

By Rail
Taunton Railway Station is no more than 20 minutes away in a taxi. Fast trains from London take one hour and forty-five minutes from London Paddington and leave every hour via Great Western Railway. Trains from Bristol take thirty-five minutes. Trains from Exeter St. Davids take twenty-five minutes.
By Road
The New Inn is approx. 10 miles North West from Junction 25 of the M5 motorway and the A358.
