Lottery rules (admin arrangements)
- Each member is eligible for each draw, based on receipt of funds by the 14th of each month, or the first working Bank day thereafter, but in your first month payment can be by end of the 27th in the month of the draw.
- Members may purchase more than £20 of tickets each month, but the number of lottery tickets issued will revert to the thresholds set in the first £20. For example, £25 would equal £8 tickets, £30 buys 10 tickets, £40 buys 14 tickets.
- Members will be allocated a number or numbers that will remain for the duration of their participation.
- The draw for each month will take place on the last Friday of each month at 7pm, in the bar at the New Inn. (If for business reasons this is moved supporters will be informed).
- The method of the draw will either be numbers out of a hat or use of the randomiser – Random Picker, or other provider as deemed fit by the Committee.
- Approximately a third of the total lottery tickets in any given month will be issued in prizes, as vouchers for spending in the New Inn Halse. Each voucher has to be used within 3 months of the date of the draw. The value or part thereof will not be changed for cash. Administrators reserve the right to vary prize amounts.
- A full list of winners and accounts will be available for inspection on request. Each winner will be notified.
- In the event of a dispute arising the decision of the Management Committee will be final.
- Licence number ML1/000437. Somerset Council are the supervising authority.
