December is here!
Children are counting down the days to sneaking a peek at Santa as he delivers his presents under the Christmas tree. Cupboards start filling up with food that is available all year round, but for some reason only seems to get bought at Christmas. Then it’s still being eaten in the Spring. Waistlines miraculously grow a little bigger overnight.Following popular demand, we have altered the cafe menu to have more of a brunch vibe to it. Some of the old favourites are still on there (Shakshuka, toasties etc) with some new offerings thrown in. Have a look at our Christmas opening hours as there are several changes to the norm over the yuletide period so you can note these in your calendars & diaries. We have added in some additional times when we are normally closed so do look through!
We are heading into our busiest Christmas so far, which we are all really excited & energised for. If you haven’t booked yet, there is still time (just!)
The options are either a sit down Christmas Meal or a Christmas Party buffet style menu (minimum of 10 per booking). If you & your family or colleagues fancy a little Christmas gathering, book a table soon!New Year’s Eve evening we will be serving a special A La Carte & dessert menu from 6-8.30pm. We strongly recommend booking a table if you wish to eat. If not, then we will be seeing 2026 in, in our normal traditional New Inn manner consisting of very loud singing, interesting dance moves & good ole Halse fun, so please come & join the party if you can. Pub closes 1am, January 1st 2026!New Year’s Day we will be open from 11am-4pm & serving the cafe menu from 11am-2pm.November’s curry night was fabulous. Our next themed meal will be coming in January, Thursday 22nd, so watch this space for details…

– Wednesday 3rd, 10th & 17th remain Pizza and Pint for £15 along with the A La Carte menu in the evening. Christmas Eve we will be serving A La Carte only & New Year’s Eve will be the special A La Carte.
