At an award ceremony in London on 17 Nov 2022 hosted by the Plunkett Foundation, Lucy Turner and our Cafe won the prestigious Community Contribution Award 2022. This award is for small businesses which have encouraged social inclusion whilst at the same time increased social engagement locally, something our cafe has excelled at. Lucy on the other hand has had such a say and influence on the cafe that it is fair to say that her drive, enthusiasm, innovativeness and cheery nature have undoubtedly led to this level of excellence.
